Today I held my second book No Excuses in my hand for the first time. I feel like I'm living a dream. And it feels great! I wouldn't trade this high for the biggest blunt in the world!

You are more than enough!

There are times when people want to make you feel as if you are not good enough. Nothing you do satisfies them. I know it's hard to do but you must remember that it has noting to do with you. If you know you are doing the best that you can that is all that matters. Stop trying to please people who can't be pleased. Relationships are hard enough without the extra pressure of trying to live up to someone else's expectations. Only focus on the expectations that you have for yourself! There comes a time in a woman's life where it has to be "all about me" and there is nothing wrong with it. Stop putting yourself last. Quit allowing past and present relationships to hinder you and keep you from your destiny. The time is now! Do you! And enjoy the ride. Sometimes it's ok to be selfish. This is your time to shine! Taking digs

Some people get a kick out of pointing out your flaws. It's hard not to take it personal but it has nothing to do with you. It's about that person and their own insecurities. The bigger question is why would you tolerate putting up with someone who is not for you. If this is you, you need to have a serious come to Jesus talk with yourself. Don't let anyone define you. We are all a work in progress. And if that person is so perfect then why are they still here? Their journey should be over. These kind of people are just distractions to keep you from your promise. Recognize the traits of the enemy. And remember he uses the people closest to you when he can't get to you. Don't fall for it.
