How do you stop complaining when it has become a nasty habit? I'm not talking about being a negative Nancy I'm talking about regular people like me who try to speak life rather then speak death. But I still complain about something. Whether its being tired or not having some of things I really want. Tips anybody?

Thank you Jesus!
I finally got my corrections done on my book. Faithisms. Its been a rough road. Self publishing is costly. And I ran out of money. The book is not perfect but I did my best. I didn't know what I was doing and I was basically on my own. I am proud of myself for following my dream. But let me tell you. God did this. I had hit so many road blocks. And I told God that this must not be my time. Although I continued to pray about it I began typing up book number two. And I was confident God would work it out. And truth be told I rarely give God a problem and not take it back. Glad I did this time. I got an email that I was getting a free round of corrections. That was nothing but God. To God be the glory! I can't stop crying. My heart is so full! I'm not worthy but thanking God for His grace and mercy! Can I get a witness? Blessings, Peace and Prosperity!
Taking digs
Sometimes the people closest to us tend to take their little digs out on us. That is an insecurity within them. Its hard not to take it personal because it is. They are personally attacking you and its a personal insecurity with them. Know that you are beautifully and wonderfully made. And I can guarantee you that there are many qualities that you have that they wish they had. Love is the only thing that will cancel out hate. And thats what haters do. So let them. And love yourself even more. I would suggest that you say thank you for that dig. Just so that they know you are completely aware of what they just did. No one likes to be called out especially when their intention is to make you feel bad.

Big Faith
The substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen. Although my father named me Faith my faith has been tested and tried many times over. Sometimes I have Big Faith and there are times when my faith seems smaller than a mustard seed. But today I was inspired to flex my Big Faith muscle. We all have a faith muscle but we must flex it to make stronger. Big Faith keeps me writing this blog that seems to go unnoticed.

Wow!
Last night I went to see New Edition perform. I was 14 the last time I saw them in concert. Not only did they look great but they sounded great! And yes Bobby showed up. He broke down and cried. And asked for prayers for Bobbi Kris and Whitneys family. Job well done!

When we focus on the problem its makes it alot bigger then it really is. Take your eyes off the problem and focus on the prize. This too shall pass but what are doing in the meantime? So many people are saying rest in peace to Whitney Houston. So why don't we? The media is filled with all the negative things Whitney has been through. A friend even said to me that she knew better. How dare we? My response was we ALL know better. The only difference is when Whitney messed up it was public knowledge. People are forgetting that she has a daughter and a mother who are in terrible pain right now. It kills me how many people are talking about how hurt they are. Its not about you or any fan. Because for all of that talk next week no one is probably going to lift Whitney's name up in prayer. But guess what Whitney's daughter and mother are still going to be grieving. So save your r.i.p. FL man adopts his girlfriend
What in the world? This $300 million FL man adopts his 40something yr old girlfriend in hopes to keep all his money. His biological children want it thrown out. Hope this cat gets what he deserves. He also has a lawsuit against him for killing a young man he hit while he was driving drunk. Oh yea and he left the poor guy to drown in the canal. I sure hope that young mans family gets the $100,000,000 they are suing for.

Where is your faith?
Before my oldest son was killed my friend asked me to write a play. I had started writing a play titled Where is your faith in God? When Sean died my faith was not only tested but shaken. I knew God would make it alright but on that day it wasn't alright. As years passed I had to rebuild my faith. And I would be lying if I said that I'm not still in the rebuilding process. Faith is trusting God. Faith is not figuring God out. Faith is knowing and watching God work it out. So I ask you Where is your faith? Share your story. Isolation
Have you ever felt isolated? Do you find yourself deliberately staying away from people or keeping to yourself? This is where I'm at. In a self made isolation tank. But you know what? I'm loving it. Happy Birthday Daddy
Today I dedicate my blog to my Daddy. The late great Rev. Earl R. Cheek. Although he died in 1988 his presence is still very much felt. Oh how I wish he was still here to get everybody in line. My children get a kick out of my "daddy" stories. We all miss you and love you. Faults and all. I appreciate you and mama giving me the foundation of the Word. You can take the girl out of the church but you can't take the church out of the girl! I AM MY FATHERS DAUGHTER!
